French courses (FLE) in Abidjan — For expats and foreigners

Are you an expat, a foreign student, or a professional based in Côte d’Ivoire and want to learn or improve your French? AMBIZ has been offering French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses since 1993, designed for non-francophone adults.

Pedagogy tailored to an international audience

Our FLE programme blends oral communication, structured grammar, daily-life and workplace vocabulary, and cultural immersion (Ivorian and francophone codes, expressions, usage). This approach enables rapid integration in Abidjan.

Instructors are native French speakers trained in FLE pedagogy and able to teach via English, Spanish or Portuguese as needed. Entry placement test calibrates your CEFR level.

DELF and DALF preparation

To officialise your level, we prepare candidates for the DELF (A1 to B2) and DALF (C1, C2) diplomas issued by France Éducation International. These certifications are internationally recognised and required for study, naturalisation, or employment in francophone administrations.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t speak any French — where do I start?

With our complete-beginner FLE programme (A1). The first session runs in English (or your language), then gradual immersion in French starts from week two.

How long to reach DELF B2?

From A2-B1, plan 3 to 6 months of intensive prep for a solid B2. From A1, allow 9 to 12 months.

Do you offer business French?

Yes: business French, legal French, administrative French modules. Ideal for executives in francophone organisations.

Online classes available?

Yes — all formats are available via video, particularly useful for expats in transition or remote learners.
