How to fund your team’s English training with the FDFP?
Your sales reps struggle to run an export tender? Your executives avoid meetings in English? The FDFP (Vocational Training Development Fund) is the solution to train your teams without straining your budget.
What is the FDFP?
The FDFP is an Ivorian public body funded by employer contributions (0.6% of payroll). It reimburses companies for all or part of their employees’ continuing-training costs. Language training is eligible provided it is delivered by an approved firm.
AMBIZ: FDFP-approved No. 92-529 since 1993
AMBIZ is one of the oldest FDFP-approved training firms in Côte d’Ivoire. Our approval No. 92-529, obtained at the fund’s creation, guarantees administrative compliance and a technically pre-validated file.
The 5 steps to fund your training
- 1. Free language audit — Assessment of each employee’s level.
- 2. FDFP-compliant quote — AMBIZ produces the technical file to FDFP standards.
- 3. FDFP submission — Your HR submits the file (we provide a pre-filled template).
- 4. FDFP validation — Average lead time: 2 to 4 weeks.
- 5. Kick-off — Classes on-site, at AMBIZ, or hybrid. Quarterly progress review.
What does it really cost the company?
For a typical 60-hour English plan for 5 employees, the FDFP can cover up to 70% of the total cost. The remaining cost is often lower than the annual coffee-room budget.
